Join us for an intensive three-day track sprint camp at the Rock Hill Velodrome, designed specifically for track sprinters looking to improve their explosive power, racecraft, and top-end speed. Whether you’re an experienced racer or looking to fine-tune your sprinting skills, this camp will give you the tools to take your racing to the next level. 

 Camp Overview

  • Dates: May 16-18, 2025
  • Location: Rock Hill Velodrome (Rock Hill, SC)
  • Cost:
    • $275 for full 3-day camp
    • $125 per single-day session
    • $100 deposit required to secure your spot (limited availability)
  • Who Should Attend? Masters and elite track cyclists specializing in sprint events.

  • Improve acceleration and sprint starts with focused drills and expert coaching
  • Enhance sprint tactics and racecraft for better positioning and race execution
  • Maximize top-end speed and strength endurance through race-intensity training
  • Receive real-time coaching analysis and post-session discussions for tactical improvements

Daily Schedule & Focus Areas

🔹 Day 1: Starts & Acceleration (Friday, May 16 | 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM)

  • Standing Starts (No Gate)
  • Rolling Starts & Acceleration Drills (30m, 60m, 100m sprints)
  • Video Analysis Using Dartfish
  • Post-Session Race Prep Discussion

🔹 Day 2: Sprint Tactics & Racecraft (Saturday, May 17 | 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM)

(Following Grassroots Racing – Coaches will analyze riders during match sprints.)

  • Tactical Sprinting (Lead-outs, Timing, Positioning)
  • Match Sprint Rounds
  • Feints, Blocks & Defensive Moves
  • Post-Session Tactical Adjustments & Race Strategy Discussion

🔹 Day 3: Top-End Speed & Strength Endurance (Sunday, May 18 | 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM)

  • Flying 200m Efforts (Refining the Qualifying Run)
  • Over-speed Training (Motor-Pacing, High-Cadence Drills)
  • Sprint Simulation Races (2-up, 3-up formats)
  • Nutrition / Recovery & Strength Training Discussion
  • Final Takeaways & Long-Term Sprint Development
