Perform Program: Unlock Your Potential Through Strength and Precision

Overview

The Perform Program is your gateway to optimizing athletic performance through targeted, effective training strategies. This program goes beyond traditional coaching by focusing on the execution of workouts designed to maximize results and build long-term resilience. From strength training to other specialized disciplines, the Perform Program empowers athletes to refine their craft with structured, data-driven guidance.

As part of this program, we emphasize the integration of strength training as a core element of athletic success. By developing strength, mobility, and stability, athletes can unlock new levels of endurance, power, and injury resistance. The Perform Program is designed to complement your primary training goals while addressing key areas for improvement.

Our Coaching Philosophy

We believe that excellence in sport is achieved through a balance of structured training, adaptability, and a focus on fundamentals. Strength training, in particular, is an essential pillar of this philosophy. It provides the foundation for improved performance by enhancing stability, power, and movement efficiency.

Our approach emphasizes individualized planning, ensuring that every athlete’s unique needs and goals are addressed. By combining functional movements, progressive overload, and mobility work, we build well-rounded athletes who are ready to tackle their challenges head-on. Data and feedback are central to our method, enabling continuous improvement and measurable progress. The Perform Program is not just about working harder—it’s about working smarter.

Features Explained

Here’s what you get with our coaching plans:

Goal Setting

Your journey begins with a one-on-one phone consultation to explore your athletic goals, both immediate and seasonal. This conversation allows us to understand your unique needs, ensuring your strength training program aligns with your overall objectives and lifestyle.

Initial Strength Test

After the goal-setting session, you’ll complete a self-guided strength test to establish a baseline for your current capabilities. This test helps identify your strengths, weaknesses, and areas for growth, providing the data needed to craft a highly personalized training plan.

Periodized Training Plans for Seasonal Alignment

Your workouts will be carefully structured into periodized training blocks, tailored to your specific goals and the demands of your athletic season. Whether you’re focusing on strength building, race preparation, or maintaining performance, your plan evolves to meet your needs.

Video Demonstrations for Safe Execution

For athletes with a TrainingPeaks account, video demonstrations of every exercise in your program are provided. These ensure proper form and technique, giving you the confidence to perform each movement safely and effectively.

Core Stability and Mobility Drills

Your program includes targeted exercises designed to improve core strength, mobility, and flexibility. These drills enhance movement quality, reduce the risk of injury, and support optimal performance in all aspects of your training.

Monthly Progress Assessments and Adjustments

Each month, your plan will be reviewed and refined to reflect your progress and adapt to any changes in your goals or schedule. This ongoing assessment ensures your training stays effective, targeted, and relevant.

Integration with Other Training Plans as Required

If you’re following a cycling or endurance training program, your strength training sessions will be designed to fit seamlessly into your routine. This integration ensures balance and synergy between all aspects of your training.

Email Support for Feedback and Adjustments (Twice per Month)

Get answers to your questions and make adjustments to your plan with email support twice per month. Whether you need advice, motivation, or fine-tuning of your program, personalized guidance is always available.

Monthly Check-In (Once per Month via Zoom)

Connect face-to-face with your coach once per month during a Zoom check-in session. These meetings provide an opportunity to evaluate progress, discuss challenges, and ensure you’re on track to achieve your goals

Our Step-by-Step Approach

1. Initial Consultation Call
We begin with a one-on-one phone consultation to understand your goals, training schedule, and any specific needs or challenges. This foundational conversation sets the stage for a personalized training program designed to meet your unique objectives.

2. Establishing Baselines and Assessments
Your journey starts with a self-guided strength assessment and a review of your current fitness level, past training, and available data (e.g., power metrics, heart rate zones). This step helps us establish your baseline and identify key areas of focus.

3. Personalized Training Plan Design
Using your assessment results and goals, we craft a customized plan tailored to your needs. This includes periodized strength training workouts, mobility drills, and, if applicable, integration with your cycling or running programs.

4. Program Integration and Execution
Your program is built to fit seamlessly into your lifestyle and existing training routines. Whether it’s strength, cycling, or a combination, each workout is designed to enhance performance while preventing overtraining.

5. Progress Tracking & Feedback
You’ll track your workouts and progress using apps like TrainingPeaks or other preferred platforms. Regular monitoring enables us to review your performance and ensure you’re on track to achieve your goals.

6. Monthly Check-Ins and Adjustments
Every month, we connect via Zoom to assess your progress, refine your program, and discuss any challenges or new goals. This ensures your plan evolves with you and remains effective over time.
